It's time to seize the opportunities that are before us! Cast off the ballast. Cut the ropes. Prepare for launch and soar higher than ever imagined.
Within the next 7 days let us devote ourselves to God in prayer, fasting, and reading the Bible. It is time to evaluate our lives and focus on where we would like to be in our personal development and in our relationship with God. This is our moment to draw nearer to God and to seek His purpose in us. Fasting is a consecration of sacrifice. Choose to do without something that you enjoy: - A favorite beverage (coffee or soft drinks) - A meal a day (or several meals in the week) - All food for a day or more (only drinking water) - Meats or sweets (something you normally enjoy) - Consuming only liquids (fasting solid food) - Social media or entertainment (spend time with God) During this time of commitment also spend time Praying. - Seek God's direction in your personal goals and desires. - Pray for our relationships, family, and friends. Pray that we may be more effective in our witness of the Gospel of Jesus - Reflect on the character of God. Get a glimpse of His glory and worship His majesty. |
