A weekly reminder is posted here to help you continue to pursue the opportunities of the New Year or a new beginning. Download the devotionals and develop your plan of action for 2017!

Week 1
the Awakening
to an Open door

Awaken to the Opportunities. ​There is a certain excitement and perhaps trepidation over the uncertainties of the future. Don't be afraid to step through the door that God opens. He is with us! “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23).

Week 2
An Open Door Of Deity

Awaken to God's Intervention. Only God can open these doors. Pray for a sovereign intervention to accomplish the impossible.
“I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it" (Revelation 3:8).

Week 3
An Open door of Decision

Awaken to the Mission. In Christ there is both invitation and commission. We choose our response to both follow Him and to obey His call to discipleship. The Commission is clear, “Go” and make disciples. It is an OPEN door of decision. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

Week 4
An Open door of Duty

Awaken to Service. There is an imperative in the call of discipleship. "Take up your cross and follow Me," Jesus said. It's not enough that we accept Him; He calls us to follow Him. The path of discipleship is an opportunity to serve. It is also our duty. Jesus was our example in service. "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28).

Week 5
An Open door of Destiny

Awaken to your Purpose. John saw an OPEN door in heaven and heard a voice saying, "Come up here," promising to show him things to come. The OPEN door compels us to fulfill our destiny. Step into the unknown, the future God has for you. Let His purpose be your path and your destiny provide the direction. Pursue the upward call. Boldly step through the door of destiny. "Reaching forward to those things which are ahead" (Philippians 3:13).

Memorize portions of the Bible

  "Your word I have hidden in my heart,
    That I might not sin against You" (Psalm 119:11)
