Last week we studied God is Holy; He is my Comforter; He is my hiding place; and He is my defender. As a short review let’s go over the four points we covered:
✦ He is Holy - God’s holiness makes all His other attributes stable and true. ✦ He is my comfort - Since God is the comforter, there is no one who can comfort like He does. He comforts me when I mourn - he dries my tears. He comforts me when I’m afraid and when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. ✦ He is my Hiding Place - a safe place when the storm of life is raging. ✦ He is my Defender. When I’m in trouble, I will not be afraid. I will Stand firm and see the deliverance from the Lord. I shall be calm and watch Him work. Do you feel like a bee yet? Knowing that you will fly because God created you to do so! He is enough! He is Holy and will keep His promises because He cannot be unfair. When the tears are falling and you feel alone, He will comfort you like no one else can. When you need a safe place to hide, He will be your hiding place. When you need a champion to fight for you, God will step up to the plate, flex His muscles, and win the battle for you. Yes, whatever your situation, He is enough! | ||
