Plan to Change
I’ve been at church picnics where we played a game of Tug of War. One particular time the rope was positioned strategically in an area where there was a large puddle of mud in the middle. The winners were rewarded with a clean dry exit that day as the losers limped away covered with dirty, brown mud. I over heard one of the winners boasting how they did it. “Put the big guys on the end. When the other team sees the little guys closest to them, they think they have it made, but the power is at the end.”
We must take the time to figure out a strategy to win at life by making a plan to change. First there has to be a plan before you can work it. You’ve heard it said, “Plan the work; work the plan.” It is true. Change is only as successful as the planning put into it. Make a list of the things you want to change this year. Now determine how you are going to make that happen.
What is the next step? Don’t worry about what is a year down the road, but focus on today. What are you going to do today to put the plan in motion? You have the strength. You have God on your side and He is backing you up. If you come to believe that, your success is guaranteed!
Scripture Reading:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
-Philippians 4:13
