A New Beginning
Have you ever been the first one to put a footprint in a drift of newly fallen snow? The fresh snowfall hides all the tracks of the past, masking the landmarks and altering the familiar scenes. There are no paths to follow and no guides to give direction. Evidence of all those who passed before you has disappeared and you are like the pioneering explorer on a maiden voyage to the future.
Today is the sunrise after the newly fallen snow. A new beginning starts today. It doesn’t really matter what you’ve done in the past, today is what matters because the steps you make now will shape your focus for the future.
You are the one who charts the course and creates a path for those who will follow. It is in your power to provide a safe trail and lead those to come with clear direction.
Lao-Tsu said, "A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." Close your eyes and put one foot forward in faith. As you take the first step remember that you will be walking with the God that can make all things new. Today is a new beginning for a New Life.
