It is impossible to see the future without the reflection of the past in the rear view mirror. However, you cannot clearly see the path ahead if you constantly stare into this window of the past. Extreme Makeover Home Edition is a popular television reality show. Not only is it interesting to see how they take a run-down place and transform it into a beautiful living facility, but they choose people that really need help so they can make a difference in their lives. Many of the homes are beyond repair and they have to do some extreme remodeling to the place. When the final “move that bus” order is given, the house doesn’t even look the same. Many times it stuns the homeowners into tears.
This is a New Year. Why not allow God to do an extreme makeover in your life? It will take some hard work and commitment on your part, but it will be well worth it.
When you change the way you look at yourself, your situation, your God, and your world, everything will change!
